KBeauty Finder is free — but finding the right clinic in a country where you don't speak the language is anything but easy. Knowing who to call, who to trust, and how to even begin navigating it all? That's where most people get stuck.
Think of us as a local friend who knows the system inside out. Someone who speaks the language, cuts through the noise, and genuinely has your back — no commissions, no referral fees, no hidden agenda. Just honest help, from people who actually know Seoul.
Who is Dear J?
A Korean who spent 10+ years living abroad — China, then the US — and came back with an international lens and a career in finance. Beauty-obsessed, people-person, and genuinely curious about the world. The kind of person who actually goes to the clinic to ask the doctor what's trending, then looks up the stock.
Not a medical professional. Not a sponsored influencer. Just someone who truly gets both sides — the language barrier and the beauty obsession — and wants to help you navigate it.
No forms, no commitments upfront. Just send a message and we'll take it from there.

Hi! I'm considering 3 clinics for rhinoplasty: iLoveSeoul Plastic Surgery, Nova Aesthetic Clinic, and Bloom Nose Clinic. Could you check:
Hi! Called all three this morning. Here's what I got:
iLoveSeoul Plastic Surgery
- Virtual quote: phone only, no KakaoTalk/WhatsApp
- Availability: May 8 PM ✓, May 9 surgery ✓
- Consult fee: ~$80 for foreigners
- English: in-house coordinator (basic) — prepare written questions...
- CCTV: viewing okay but requires written consent from all OR staff — fee may apply...
- Consult: starts w/ coordinator, surgeon joins after
Nova Aesthetic Clinic
- Virtual quote: KakaoTalk ✓ (send photos for estimate)
- Availability: May 8 PM ✗ (fully booked), May 9 ✓
- Consult fee: free for foreigners
- English: fluent English-speaking surgeon
- CCTV: yes, viewing okay but consent required before recording — details at consult...
- Consult: directly with surgeon from start
Bloom Nose Clinic
- Virtual quote: Line only, response in 2–3 days
- Availability: May 8 ✓, surgery slot TBD (call back needed)
- Consult fee: $50 (refunded if you proceed)
- English: no in-house — recommend bringing translator
- CCTV: couldn't confirm over the phone — need to ask in person...
- Consult: surgeon only, ~45 min
My pick for your dates: Nova if May 8 PM isn't a must — or iLoveSeoul if you need that specific slot. Is there anything else you'd like me to dig into? Happy to follow up! 😊
Thanks so much! Can you also check if Nova has a board-certified ENT/rhinoplasty specialist on staff, and whether the surgeon does the full procedure themselves or hands off mid-surgery? Also — can you clarify Nova's CCTV policy in more detail? Like, can I actually request to view the footage, and is there a fee?
Just called Nova again — here's the full picture:
Surgeon: Dr. Shin — board-certified ENT specialist with a rhinoplasty focus, 12 years of experience. Handles the full procedure start to finish, no handoff mid-surgery.
Anesthesiologist: dedicated, on-staff specialist — not shared with other ORs at the time of your procedure.
CCTV: installed in all ORs as required by Korean law, but viewing the footage requires written consent from every staff member present in the OR at the time — so it's not a simple on-request thing. A retrieval fee may also apply. Nova said they walk through all of this at the consultation, so worth asking upfront.
Sounds like a solid choice. Want me to help book a consult slot for you? 🙌
Example email thread — clinic names are fictional for illustration.
Think of us as your Seoul insider — we speak the language, know the clinics, and have your back.
You give us your shortlist of clinics. We verify whether they're reputable private facilities (not factory clinics), confirm board-certified surgeon names and specialties, check anesthesiologist credentials, CCTV policy, and post-op care — then report back in plain English.
We call the clinic in Korean on your behalf to ask the questions that matter: Is the consultation with the surgeon or just a coordinator? Is there a consultation fee? What's the availability for your travel dates? We relay everything back to you clearly.
We handle all back-and-forth scheduling in Korean — confirming consultation slots, surgery dates, and follow-up appointments. We also check if your preferred dates are actually available before you book flights.
A dedicated interpreter accompanies you during consultations and procedures. Nothing gets lost in translation when it matters most — including technical questions about surgical techniques.
After your procedure, we help coordinate follow-up appointments, communicate with the clinic about recovery questions, and check in on how you're doing — especially important when you're far from home.
